A New Adventure Begins: Inspired by My Grandsons

There is something truly magical about watching children explore the world with curiosity, courage, and a sense of wonder. My grandsons, Dean and Andrew, have always had that adventurous spirit. The way they imagine, discover, and dive headfirst into the unknown inspired me to begin writing a brand new series centered around that very energy.

This story unfolds in an enchanted realm, a hidden fantasy world filled with mystery, magic, and rules of its own. One of those rules is simple, yet dangerous: adults are not allowed.

Of course, as stories often go, things do not quite follow the rules.

When the adults in the family accidentally find their way into this magical world, something strange begins to happen. Their memories start to fade. At first it is small things, but the longer they remain, the more they forget. If they stay too long, their memories could be lost forever.

That is where the true adventure begins.

Dean and Andrew, reimagined in the story as Dean Dean and Drewby, must step into this enchanted realm themselves. With bravery and determination, they take on the mission of rescuing their family members: their Gigi, their Pop-Up, their mom and dad, and their Uncle David. Along the way, they will face challenges, uncover secrets, and discover just how powerful courage and love can be.

Writing this series has been both rewarding and challenging. Bringing this world to life, while capturing the spirit of my grandsons, has pushed my creativity in new and exciting ways. At the same time, it has been an absolute joy. Every page feels like an adventure of its own.

I cannot wait to share more of this journey with you as the story continues to grow.
